Science Alberta Foundation is a non-profit organization that champions science
and technology learning in Alberta. Founded in 1990, Science Alberta reaches
communities, students, educators and families through its innovative programs.
The programs inspire and motivate our next generation of scientists and nurture
a science and technology culture in Alberta.
SAF’s unique combination of mobile, flexible and self-guided programs
are presented by teachers and community hosts. They enable Albertans of all
ages to build an understanding of science through real-world learning experiences.
The programs encourage self-reliance when forming opinions and identifying
connections between local communities and the world.
