PrAIRie 2005 
Starting August 10, 2005, Environment Canada will undertake a study gathering data on air pollution over the Edmonton area.  It's called PrAIRie 2005.  Each day, planes will fly in a grid pattern.  Also, lasers from Lidar trucks dubbed RASCAL and CRUISER will shoot into the air collect the signatures of various chemicals in the air. Click twice on the map to zoom in.
