Cattle Lined Up At The Pump

TRANSCRIPT: Now here's a lineup at the water fountain! These are some of the 135 cattle that Jim and Jackie Anderson raise on their farm near Rimbey, Alberta. It doesn't take them long to figure out how to push the nose pump and get a drink. Even the calves catch on pretty quick. Working much like an old fashioned hand pump, the well pipe is insulated to well below the frost line. This allows the pump to operate year round, hence the name Frost Free Nose Pump.
